ClaroPDF is a professional PDF viewer, reader, and annotator that offers a range of features and functionalities to enhance productivity and accessibility.

The annotation toolbar in ClaroPDF allows users to easily add notes and comments to PDF files. These annotations are fully compatible with Adobe Reader and other popular PDF apps, ensuring that they can be accessed on different devices. ClaroPDF also supports viewing and editing of annotations created in other PDF apps.

The annotation features in ClaroPDF include highlighting, underscoring, strikeout, adding notes, free text input, freehand drawing with various customization options, shapes, and the ability to insert images from the iPad camera or photo library into the PDF file.

In terms of speech, productivity, and accessibility, ClaroPDF provides access to a wide range of iOS system voices and offers synchronized color highlighting options. The "Speak in Background" feature allows users to listen to a PDF while using other apps, making it convenient for proofreading accessible text PDF files. Additionally, the "Speak on tap" and "Stop on tap" options make speech control easy.

ClaroPDF offers the option to change the background color of the PDF for enhanced readability and fully supports VoiceOver. While image PDF files cannot be spoken by ClaroPDF, they can still be viewed and annotated.

The smart zoom feature in ClaroPDF automatically zooms in on a tapped text block, similar to Safari's intelligent zoom. This reduces the need for manual adjustment of zoom levels.

For efficient navigation within PDF documents, ClaroPDF provides a full-text search function that highlights all search results and allows users to jump to each result. It also displays each page as a thumbnail for faster scrolling of long documents.

Managing PDF files is made easy with ClaroPDF. Users can open PDF files from all other apps, including Mail and Safari. The app maintains a Documents List for easy access to opened PDF files. Furthermore, files can be opened from Dropbox, Google Drive, or imported via iTunes. ClaroPDF offers various options for saving PDF files, including in its own Documents folder, Dropbox, Google Drive, sending them by email, or opening them in other PDF-supporting apps. Users can choose to email or forward the PDF in a flattened format with permanent annotations or send the entire file with editable annotations for further review.

Fullscreen mode in ClaroPDF allows users to view the entire document without any toolbars obstructing the screen, making it ideal for smaller screens.

In terms of accessibility, ClaroPDF not only allows the background color of the PDF to be changed for improved readability but also fully supports iOS VoiceOver.

ClaroPDF Pro offers additional features not available in the standard version, such as four Nuance Vocalizer text-to-speech voices, multimedia support to add audio and video files to pages of a PDF file, folder customization in the PDF documents list for better organization, iCloud sync to keep PDF files synchronized across devices, the ability to convert text, images, and web pages to PDF files using the save as PDF app extension (useful for creating a PDF record of web pages), and in-app purchases for additional Vocalizer voices and OCR credits.
